Lori Stryker has been a Canadian educator since 1999, where she started her career teaching middle students in West Vancouver. Most of her career was spent teaching secondary school in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario as well as working as a school board consultant, Education Officer for the Ministry of Education and textbook author. She also ran two innovative international businesses based on her own formulations of all natural, vegan and cruelty free colour cosmetics, skin care and art supplies like watercolors and oil paints, with published articles in these industries. She currently lives in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, where she paints abstracts in oils, teaches online and writes. Her motivation in teaching young people is mastery through analysis, practice, feedback and goal attainment.
