Leigh-Anne has been an educator, researcher and international development professional for more than twenty years. Dr. Ingram is an External Adjunct Professor of Education at Lakehead University in Orillia, Ontario. She has worked in many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia and currently teaches at OISE/University of Toronto and in the Faculty of Education at Lakehead University. Leigh-Anne has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree from Harvard University,

Her consulting has included work for a variety of organizations including: The Ontario Ministry of Education, Elections Canada, The Elementary Teacher's Federation of Ontario, Right to Play Canada, UNICEF Tajikistan, Plan Canada, the Skyworks Foundation, and UNICEF Canada. In addition to her work in education, she recently published her first children’s book and teaches writing to children. To escape her laptop, she heads to the “green” and loves to dance, paint and write to stimulate her creativity.
